Neither frost nor high temperatures pose the slightest problem to the proper functioning of FANCY FENCE system gates. The components of the FANCY FENCE system, such as the drive, in addition to being designed for outdoor operation in various climatic conditions, are additionally hidden under covers, in an underground zone with a relatively stable temperature. In addition, it should be remembered that 99% of the time the gate would normally remain closed, with only the leaf protruding above ground level. Thus, optional seals around the pickets prevent sand and ice from entering the concrete vault.
Thanks to the sealed reinforced concrete vault, flooding is not an issue. If water accumulates, a pump automatically drains it.
The reinforced concrete vault is fully waterproof, and so, the only place where it is possible for water to enter the vault is through the holes in the covers that the pickets move through. In the event that water starts to fill the vault, a dedicated pump has been placed at the bottom of the vault, to automatically pump out the water.
Manual operation remains possible via a key system. Movement remains smooth, effortless, and safe.
The fact that the gate leaf is connected to a counterweight system of the same mass allows it to be lowered or raised easily, even by children.
Components are identical to those used in sliding gates. Motor maintenance is straightforward, and deeper servicing is accessible by removing protective covers.
As with other types of gates, the most common potential problems during use involve the drive. This is why, it is easily accessible by removing the middle cover. Any other mechanical failure requires the other covers to be removed so that the service technician can conveniently access all gate components.
