When minimalism meets engineering precision, the results can redefine what we expect from gate infrastructure. Two Fancy Fence projects, "Banana Gate" and "Console", illustrate how thoughtful design and advanced technology come together to serve very different but equally demanding needs.

Banana Gate: elegance in non-standard shapes

The "Banana Gate" by Fancy Fence has gained recognition for its unique ability to adapt to curved and non-standard layouts. This elegant security gate design, focused on access control and entrance management, demonstrates that driveway organisation solutions do not have to follow rigid, conventional forms. The gate combines aesthetic refinement with practical driveway organisation, fitting seamlessly into modern architectural compositions where clean lines and visual discretion are a priority.

The "Console" project: hostile vehicle mitigation in Minsk

The "Console" project, realised in the vicinity of the "Drozdy" presidential residence in Minsk, represents a different category of application entirely. Here, the central element is a reinforced gate section that lowers into the ground, engineered specifically for vehicle impact protection. This is not a standard access management solution but a dedicated anti-ram installation, designed to physically stop hostile vehicles while maintaining a modern and discreet architectural form suited to a prestigious environment.

Minimalism meets purpose-built engineering

Both projects share a minimalist visual language, but they serve fundamentally different functions. The "Banana Gate" is a standard Fancy Fence system focused on access control, boundary definition and architectural integration. The "Console" project, on the other hand, belongs to the reinforced HVM category, where the primary objective is hostile vehicle mitigation. The modular construction of the Fancy Fence system allows both versions to create fences of various lengths and configurations, perfectly complementing the architecture around them.

Two roles, clearly defined

The "Console" and "Banana Gate" projects show how anti-ram gates and standard access management gates can each add value in their own context. The "Banana Gate" enhances a property through creative form and smooth entrance organisation. The "Console" delivers certified vehicle impact protection in a high-profile public location. These are distinct solutions addressing distinct needs, and communicating them clearly helps set the right expectations.

The future of gate design

Projects like "Console" and "Banana Gate" illustrate how fence security systems can evolve in two parallel directions: towards ever more refined architectural integration for everyday access control, and towards certified hostile vehicle mitigation where the threat level demands it. Underground automatic gates, whether standard or reinforced, are becoming a natural complement to projects where design quality and functional clarity go hand in hand.
